Watch Repair

Battery change

Quartz movements stop working or lose time when the battery dies. Pricing on a battery change start as low as $5 for a 90 day warranty. We also offer an extended 2 year warranty with our $9 battery change. Some watches need a new gasket or need to be resealed after a battery change and this service starts at $6.

Other types of watches including: chronographs, automatic time pieces, digital watches and timepieces with light-up features require a larger battery or multiple batteries at this service starts at $15.

Huntington Fine Jewelers also offers a basic tune-up for most watches. This tune-up includes: polishing, cleaning, sanitizing and replacing the battery with a new 2 year warranty battery. This service starts at $19.99.

New bracelet or strap

Watches have either straps (typically leather, rubber or silicon) or bracelets (typically steel, gold, platinum or titanium).

When you decide to replace a watch strap, you can replace it with a similar one or choose something different that also fits your particular model. Replacement straps vary based on quality and can typically start at $20 for a basic leather strap and range depending on the specific brand of watch.

Replacement bracelets begin at $20 and our watch repair specialist will help you find the perfect match for your special timepiece.

Mechanical watch overhaul

The overhaul of a mechanical watch is an incredibly intricate process which involves taking apart the movement (the mechanical inside of the watch), washing all parts, replacing worn parts, oiling the movement, calibrating the time and resealing everything. This process can take hours and will revitalize your timepiece.

An overhaul typically comes with a one year warranty to ensure the timepiece continues to function properly.

Huntington Fine Jewelers’ watch repairmen have decades of knowledge and experience to work on most every watch brand including SWISS made watches.

Crystal replacement

The crystal is the clear, hard material which protects your watch face. Fine timepieces have crystals made from synthetic sapphire while most watches often have mineral crystals. Sometimes the crystal can be cracked or scratched after impact, but it can be replaced.

The cost of the replacement can range based on the type, model, brand and age of the watch. Our knowledgeable watch repairmen will help you choose the best option for your watch.

Other watch repairs

Other repairs such as the replacement of the crown, changing the dial, replacing the hands, etc. can be completed by our watch repair team. The watch repair cost can truly range based on the brand and condition of the watch
